WU TANG CLAN (martial arts) the original members of this hip-hop band from Long Island, New York include Genius aka GZA,RZA aka Prince Rakeem, ol'dirty Bastard,Raekwon,Method Man,Ghostface Killah,Inspectah Deck aka Rebel INS and U-God. Wu-Tang the history of the Clan band can be traced back to being composed of Rakeem cousins, the Genius and Ol' Dirty Bastard. Before Rakeem and the Genius formed the Wu-Tang Clan, they respectively published their own records in Tommy Boy Records and Cold Chillin' Records, and now these record companies are nowhere to be seen. Each member of the band is proud of their kung fu knowledge. In their first album, they are divided into two factions, Wudang and Shaolin, symbolizing their presence in The two opposites of the time. The single Protect Ya Neck, which they independently produced, was widely circulated underground, which attracted the attention of mainstream record companies. When they signed a contract with Loud/ RCA as a band, they also indicated in the contract that the band members could make personal development outside the band. The Genius and Geffen, Method Man and Def Jam, Ol' Dirty Bastard and Elektra development contract, while Raekwon stay in Loud/RCA for personal development. RZA also formed a Fruitkwan with Prince Paul and Gravediggaz, taking into account both the Wu-Tang Clan and personal development. The music material of Wu-Tang Clan contains academic rhythm, which is very useful for their style of dividing into two opposing factions and arguing with each other in music. The background rhythm of music is sampled from kung fu films. These aggressive kung fu cultural music and previous music very different, their debut album Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) was recorded in their own recording studio, 36 Chambers implied The 36 pockets of The human body often mentioned in Shaolin Kung Fu. All the rhythms and sampling methods of RZA in his works soon became fashionable in the underground hip-hop world. The album finally reached the golden record in the United States, but only reached 41 in the album list when it was first published in November 1993. However, the success of the single "C.R.E.A.M." late makes the band a heartbreak hot star.
